What happens to earlobes?
Earlobes are a part of the face, and although for most people they are not the immediate focus of attention, external imperfections of the earlobes can be disruptive. For example, the ears may tear out from using heavy earrings or from an accident. Also, with age, the firmness and padding of the earlobes decreases. Perhaps certain jewelry is less liked because it does not “look” as nice.
What can be done about earlobes?
First, a diagnosis of the problem is needed. Thin, sagging earlobes can be made firm and full again without surgery using fillers. When there really is a torn earlobe, it can only be repaired by surgery.
